General Specifications of Fan Filter Unit

Construction

Casing provided is made of Galvalume 0.8mm thickness in two parts top and filter section with EPDM gaskets on both side, H-14 HEPA Filter, with top air inlet and Pre-filter. The top casing will be walkable, except electrical box and prefilter area. It will be having Lifting handles for easy handling

FFU Modules  (FFU 4 x 4)  – The size will be 1195mm × 1195mm × 382mm (H)
FFU Modules  (FFU 4 x 2)  – The size will be 1195mm x 595mm x 382mm  (H)

Filter

Filter unit will comprise of anodized aluminium frame suitable for Minipleat HEPA Glass Fiber (H14).The minimum height of filter unit will be 70mm

Fan and Motor

FFU will have backward curved fan with EC Motor suitable to operate at 230V/50Hz/1Ph

Power consumption for FFU 4 x 4 should not be more than 135w @ 0.45 m/s
Power consumption for FFU 4 x 2 should not be more than 75w @ 0.45 m/s

External Static pressure

Will be more than 200 pa@0.45 m/s

Bearing life

Will be minimum of 100,000h (L10)

Technical Parameters:

Detailed Specification of HEPA H14 HEPA FILTERS:

  1. Replaceable type.
  2. Body housing will be Light Weight.
  3. The filter housing will be of Anodized aluminum extrusion with a height of 70mm.
  4. Filter media will be ultra fine glass fiber with minimum height of 50mm.
  5. H14 efficiency will be Min. 99.995%, @ 0.3 microns MPPS. The filter efficiency as per EN1822 standards.
  6. Initial Pressure Drop: IPD 110Pa @0.45m/s Face Velocity: FPD will be 400 Pa.
  7. Total static Pressure for FFU will be 410Pa@0.45m/s.
  8. FFUs are be factory tested electronically for leakages.
  9. Gasket – neoprene gasket / (EPDM) on air leaving side-EPDM or neoprene will be used.
  10. Filter side will be provided with Faceguard which shall be Epoxy Powder Coated Steel.
  11. Inlet air to FFU shall be from top.
  12. Inlet Prefilter shall be G-3 grade disposable type.

Central Management of FFU

  • FFU’s shall have Centralized management system  which  are able to control complete factory/ facility using IOT technology and architecture
  • The proposed system will be able to monitor and control up to 5000 FFUs using TCP/IP protocol.
  • Cluster control of multi FFUs
  • Gateway should be provided which would be able to configure 31 FFU per Channel on 8  channels ( 248 FFU)
  • The individual FFU will be shown on CAD image for easy physical identification
  • System will be capable of :
    1. FFU running status report
    2. Warning status
    3. FFU alarm and history record
    4. FFU energy consumption report
    5. All parameter of FFU such as On/off, fan speed, alarms, error code
    6. Display data Pressure Sensor of HEPA Filters.
  • FFU should be with centralized remote Group Control arrangement (BMS)
  • FFU include Pressure Sensor (wherever necessary)
